Michael Arthur to leave Leeds for UCL presidency

Michael Arthur, the vice-chancellor of the University of Leeds, has been named as the next president and provost of University College London.

Arthur has been vice-chancellor at Leeds since 2004, and chaired the Russell Group for three years, before stepping down in August this year.
