NC3Rs experiment reporting guide to be reviewed

The National Centre for the Replacement, Refinement and Reduction of Animals in Research has announced plans to review the impact of guidelines on improvement in reporting animal experiments in 2014.

The ‘Animal Research: Reporting In Vivo Experiments’ guidelines, published in 2010, have been adopted by nearly 200 journals and research funders. The NC3Rs acknowledges that their adoption and implementation “requires a significant change in behaviour of researchers, referees and journals”.
