Defra: differences between genotypes of phytophthora ramorum in the UK in relation to risk and disease management

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs invites applications for its call on the differences between genotypes of phytophthora ramorum in the UK in relation to risk and disease management.

The aim of this call is to conduct a short-term study to inform risk assessment and risk management in relation to trees. The research should provide an initial evaluation of whether the two lineages present in the UK are adaptively or phenotypically different in relation to both hosts and environment. A secondary objective is to determine whether specific genotypes of the EU1 lineage that have emerged are specially adapted to larch or other key tree species. FFG 1142.
