The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs invites applications for its evaluation of methodology to verify vegetable oil species in mixtures of oil.
The proposed project is a scoping study of methods to identify oil plant species within vegetable oil mixtures. If successful, the methods of analysis will be used by enforcers to investigate and take enforcement action where non-compliance with new EU rules is found, ensuring consumers can be confident in the accuracy of product labels.
