Defra: evaluation of the biodiversity offsetting pilot phase

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs invites expressions of interest for its evaluation of the biodiversity offsetting pilot phase.

The aim of the pilot is to develop a body of information and evidence that the government can use to decide whether to support greater use of biodiversity offsetting, and if so, how to use it most effectively. The pilots will take place in Essex, Nottinghamshire, Doncaster, Greater Norwich, Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull and Devon and are due to start in April 2012 and run for two years. CTE 1130.
