The Economic and Social Research Council, together with HM Revenue and Customs and HM Treasury, invites outline proposals for the establishment of an independent centre for research on tax administration.
The aim of the centre will be to support high-quality research and related activities on tax administration to strengthen the theoretical and empirical understanding of the delivery and design of tax operations and policies. The main focus for the centre will be tax administration, but it will also develop models used in forecasting to assess revenue sustainability and ex-post evaluation methods.
