JISC: embedded licences – what, why and how

The Joint Information Systems Committee invites applications for its embedded licences –what, why and how call as part of its digital infrastructure directions programme.

The focus is on the use of licences to express ownership and permissions for downstream use. The scope of this work includes all digital resource types and formats relevant to research, teaching and learning, including learning materials, research papers, slides, blog posts, etc. These include images, video, audio, web content (web pages, blog posts), texts (word documents, open office, pdf), data and metadata formats (xml, rdf, rss, atom, json).
