DH (NIHR): research design services

The Department of Health’s National Institute for Health Research invites applications for its research design service competition.

This call will fund up to ten regional research design service offices. The aim of the research design service is to advice and support NIHR funding applicants on research design, methodology and scope to increase the number of high quality applications. The RDS will help researchers to prepare proposals for submission for applied health or social care research funding. It will not have a capacity building role. Funding up to £1million per year will be awarded for up to five years.
