MMR-autism researcher wins appeal

John Walker-Smith, who did research claiming there was a link between autism and the MMR jab with Andrew Wakefield, has won a High Court appeal against professional misconduct, reported the BBC on 7 March.

Walker-Smith, former head of department at the Royal Free Hospital in London, and Wakefield had been found guilty of misconduct by the General Medical Council and lost their licences to practice in May 2010.
