The Food Standards Agency invites applications to tender for research on its Northern Ireland pilot on display of calorie information in catering businesses.

This tender is for research to explore the practical implications of food businesses operating in Northern Ireland during the six-month pilot and to consider the impact on and understanding of Northern Ireland consumers to the calorie information displayed. The specific research objectives are to explore the rationale and implications to food businesses participating in the display of calorie information at the point of decision while eating out and to consider the impact of calorie information on Northern Ireland consumers’ understanding and use at the point of choice.
