Wellcome aligns fellowships with investigator awards
The Wellcome Trust is changing the application process for senior fellowships to mirror its investigator awards scheme, introduced in 2009. From October this year, proposals are expected to be shorter and involve research questions rather than methodological detail. According to the trust, shortlisted candidates will undergo additional peer review by specialists in their field before being interviewed by the expert panels used to review investigator awards.
