Animal rights activists ‘driving out lab staff’

Intimidation campaigns by animal rights activists are driving laboratory staff out of work, the Observer reported on 29 July.

A member of staff at Harlan Laboratories in Blackthorn, Oxfordshire, a breeding centre for research animals, told the newspaper that, “If they find out your name, you will appear on their website as a paedophile. It is disgusting.”
