I am the leader
David Miliband, it appears, just cannot let it go. The elder brother of Labour leader Ed is guest editor of the 16 July issue of New Statesman magazine and the list of authors is straight out of his mobile phone contacts. Hilary Clinton, Richard Branson, Tony Blair and Kevin Rudd all jostle for space on the front cover and inside too in the table of contents. But what about Ed? Where’s Ed? If you look hard enough you’ll find him on page 19—in the diary slot, usually reserved for hacks and bores. An interview with a ‘Taliban leader’ even gets higher billing. Baby bro clearly hasn’t been forgiven.
