JRF: how can employment and skills policy or practice reduce poverty?

The Joseph Rowntree Foundation accepts proposals for its call on how employment and skills policy or practice can reduce poverty.

This call is for projects that deliver insights into effective policy and practice solutions through employment and skills that might have an impact on poverty. The call focuses on four themes: improving the distribution of original income; improving income distribution through tax and benefit systems; looking at different models for employment and skills; better targeting of initiatives on households in poverty. Projects should last up to 6 months. Five projects of up to £10,000 per project will be funded.
