The Society of Biology is seeking members for its degree accreditation assessment panel.
The accreditation is for bioscience degree programmes in UK universities. In a pilot scheme, which concluded in March 2012, four degree programmes were given the award. The society is now seeking to expand the project to cover three areas: the molecular aspects of biosciences, ecological and environmental sciences and whole organism biology.
