The Medical Research Council, in collaboration with the Economic and Social Research Council, invites applications to its extending working lives – research partnership awards.
These awards aim to inform strategies and to investigate critical issues that will better prepare the UK for an ageing workforce. Applications should be collaborative, must be led by an eligible academic researcher, and involve a partnership with employer or stakeholder organisations. Projects are expected to range in scale and duration, up to a maximum cost of £2.5 million at 80 per cent full economic costs and five years in duration.
