Wales education research gets £1m investment

The Wales Institute of Social and Economic Research, Data and Methods (WISERD) has received a £1m investment for the development of education research in Wales.

The funding, provided by the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales, will be used to set up the programme WISERDEDUCATION. It will go to e-research infrastructure enhancement, research projects, researcher capacity building at universities, and activities to improve the research literacy of educational practitioners and policy makers.
