A former medical researcher has left £1 million in her will to her alma mater, the University of Aberdeen, reports the Herald Scotland.
Mary Duncan is described as a “long-time supporter of her old university”, and established the Jim Duncan Scholarship in 1999 to support students who have had their education interrupted.
