Defra: review of published scientific literature on infant feeding and the development of atopic and autoimmune disease

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs invites applications for a review and potential development of the Defra pro-environmental segmentation model.

The objective is to undertake a retrospective assessment of the pro-environmental model which was completed in 2008 and which drew on and was developed from a range of commissioned research. The objectives are to understand what the model was designed for, how it has been used and by whom, explore whether it is still fit for purpose, identify the achievements and limitations of the model, and, identify potential opportunities for any future development of the model and its application. The work will also need to review other models that have been developed over the past few years and assess the feasibility of assigning impact to the segments against specific behaviours. The project is expected to last for approximately six months from October 2012 until March 2013. ERG 1215.
