Dyson welcomes science and maths ‘renaissance’

Inventor James Dyson has celebrated what he calls the “renaissance” of science and maths.

Responding to last week’s news that the number of students taking science A-levels has increased, Dyson has written a letter to the Times in which he argues that “our economic quagmire needs scientists, mathematicians and engineers to get us moving once more”.
