FSA: investigation into microbiological contamination of samples of minced meat

The Food Standards Agency invites tenders for its investigation into microbiological contamination of samples of minced meat call.

Proposals are invited to carry out a programme of testing of samples of minced meat for microbiological contamination. The tenderer will undertake microbiological analysis of samples for the presence of Salmonella sp., the number of generic E. coli, and aerobic colony count, and additionally for Shiga toxin producing E. coli and Campylobacter in certain samples.
