Government invests £11.5m into low-carbon scheme

A scheme aiming to get companies to invest in low-carbon vehicles has been given a funding boost of £11.5 million from the Technology Strategy Board and the Department for Transport, it was announced on 21 August.

The trials, to run for two years, will involve over 300 low-carbon commercial vehicles from 13 companies, including Tesco, the John Lewis Partnership and gas company BOC.
