Universities and science minister David Willetts will speak at a meeting examining the UK’s e-infrastructure, which has received £165 million government investment.
‘Supercomputing for the 21st Century’ is organised by the Research and Development Society and will take place in London on 18 September. It will discuss opportunities for scientific modelling, virtual prototyping and next-generation supercomputer design. It will also consider how the International Centre for Computational Science and Engineering can maintain the UK’s global lead in the field.
