All the winners and losers at this year’s Ivories.
It was the social occasion of the year last night as the great and the good of British universities descended on the Travelodge Slough for this year’s Ivory Tower Awards. The Ivories recognise contributions to the rich comic tapestry of higher education and are fast becoming a highlight of the award season.
This year’s event was hosted by the C-List Celebrity Agency, and they were on fine form as they treated the audience to the same speech they gave last month at a corporate event for the British Association of Washing Machine Manufacturers. They were on hand to distribute the Ivories and make sure that leaders in higher education got what they deserved.
