NIHR opens development programme for research leaders

Leaders in NHS health research are invited to take part in a year-long development process being organised by the National Institute for Health Research and the Ashridge Business School to develop their skills.

Research managers and directors who want to take part will go on site visits, three residential workshops and will attend master classes. These lessons will develop leadership skills with a view to making health research faster and more effective, which should help the UK remain a “competitive location for life sciences” according to the NIHR.

The deadline to register interest in this course is 10 January.
