Indi Seehra, the director of human resources at the London School of Economics and Political Science, is to be the next chairman of the Careers Research and Advisory Centre’s board of trustees.
The outgoing chairman, Richard Sykes, who also chairs the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, has led the board since 2008.
Crac provides research to organisations that support career development. Seehra said: “I am delighted to take over as chairman of Crac, particularly at a time when careers are changing rapidly and there is a growing global interest in how we best support researchers’ careers.”
