Report calls for more institutional support to address lack of women in university spinouts

A study charting the experiences of spinout founders has exposed the lack of institutional support for female entrepreneurs in UK universities.

Simonetta Manfredi, associate dean for research and knowledge exchange at Oxford Brookes Business School, and her colleagues interviewed 35 spinout founders, comprising 20 women and 15 men, as well as eight people working in technology transfer, knowledge exchange and commercial law.
