Arma 2022: An update on the introduction of narrative CVs
Narrative CVs have been a long time coming and their adoption in funding applications is picking up pace.
At the Association of Research Managers and Administrators’ 2022 conference on 16 November, Tripti Rana Magar, senior strategy adviser at UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), traced the origins of the drive towards a more explanatory version of the CV back to a 2014 Nuffield Council of Bioethics’ report. That pointed out the unhelpfully narrow definitions of achievement valued by biomedical funders.
