Health data institute launches 2022 Black internship scheme

Programme to support Black interns working at health, research and academic organisations

The UK’s national institute for health data research has launched its 2022 internship programme to help tackle the underrepresentation of Black people in science, technology, engineering and mathematics careers.

A total of 81 graduates have been awarded internships through the Health Data Science Black Internship Programme this year, which aims to kickstart the careers of Black data scientists by providing opportunities for them to work on health data science projects within health, research and academic organisations.
