Five-point plan aims to make engineering and technology apprenticeships more accessible to young people
Two members of the House of Lords, with the support of charity Engineering UK, have released a five-point plan to increase the numbers of young people accessing engineering and technology apprenticeships.
Labour’s Jim Knight and the Conservatives’ David Willetts are calling for a rebalancing of secondary education and for long-term funding to reverse the decline of apprenticeship over the last few years.
