NIHR to boost research opportunities for health workers

              

Extra £30 million to be used to create new programmes and expand existing ones

The National Institute for Health and Care has said it will spend an extra £30 million to increase research opportunities for healthcare professionals.

The funding will help expand and create NIHR programmes to support nurses, midwives, allied health professionals, pharmacists and healthcare scientists in becoming or developing as researchers.
