The Society of Biology has reacted with indignation to criticism by Guardian columnist Ben Goldacre of an article published in its journal, The Biologist.
On 24 September the newspaper published a column, “The dangers of cherry-picking evidence”, in which Goldacre claimed an article by Aric Sigman was an “act of deceit”.
