Cancer Research UK begins DNA-matching research

Cancer Research UK aims to recruit 9,000 NHS patients to take part in the first phase of a project aimed at using genetic tests to improve treatments.

The initiative is part of the charity’s Stratified Medicine Programme, aimed at building a genetic testing service for use across the NHS.
