John Tooke takes over at Academy of Medical Sciences

The head of the School of Life and Medical Sciences at University College London, John Tooke, has begun a five-year term as president of the Academy of Medical Sciences.

Tooke, who has a clinical and basic research career in diabetes and vascular physiology, takes over from John Bell, who retired on 24 November.
