The Association of Medical Research Charities has appointed Sharmila Nebhrajani, NHS Sussex executive director of finance and contracting, as its chief executive.
Nebhrajani, who will replace the association’s previous chief executive, Simon Denergi, has also worked as a director of commercial strategy at the BBC.
