The Biochemical Society has appointed Caroline Black as managing director of its publishing division, Portland Press Ltd, and Group Head of Publishing for the Society.
Black, who has previously worked for the British Institute of Radiology, Thomson Science and Blackwell Publishing, will start her job on 19 September.
