Cancer Research UK has set up a collaboration between five academic groups to look at new approaches to cancer treatment based on blocking fat metabolism in tumour cells.
The research charity’s commercial arm, Cancer Research Technology, and AstraZeneca will jointly provide £600,000 over two years for the consortium.
