Race is on for Royal Society science-book prize

Guy Deutcher is leading the betting for the Royal Society's Winton Prize for science books with his entry, Through the Language Glass: How Words Colour Your World (Heinemann). Judges for the prize have published a shortlist of six books that they say have, "have taken them out of their depth and giving them thrilling new experiences of the world of science."
