A five-year study will bring together researchers from across London to investigate the links between Alzheimer’s disease and Down’s syndrome.
The London Down Syndrome Consortium will begin a study in December, funded by a £2.5 million Wellcome Trust Strategic Award. The consortium will involve researchers from disciplines including psychiatry, cognitive neuroscience, genetics and stem cell research.
