Cancer Research Technology, Cancer Research UK’s commercial arm, has teamed up with the European Investment Fund to establish an investment fund of up to £50 million to support translational cancer research in the UK.
The EIF says the CRT Pioneer Fund was developed to “bridge the funding gap in the UK between cancer drug discovery and early development”. It will operate by taking potential drugs from discovery through to clinical trials.
