The Society of Biology has announced plans for the first Biology Week, a series of events to generate public interest in the discipline.
This will take place from 15 to 20 October and will include practical experiments in schools, a citizen science ecology project, a launch event in Parliament and an awards ceremony for its science communication and photography competitions.
