Royal Society awards 27 research merit prizes

The Royal Society has announced 27 five-year Wolfson Research Merit awards.

At both University College London and the University of Leeds, three researchers were awarded the prize, the society announced on 26 April. At each of the universities of Bristol, Exeter, Glasgow, Oxford and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, two researchers won the award. A full list of appointments is available on the Royal Society’s website.

The Wolfson Foundation and the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills fund the scheme.
