The Department for International Development and the Wellcome Trust are providing a total of £1.9 million for projects that aim to improve health in humanitarian crises.
The £1.9m will be split across eight successful bids. The Research for Health in Humanitarian Crises programme is opening its call for proposals on 26 May, and it will support applicants to identify research partners.
This is the second round of funding since the project’s launch in June 2013.
