The Centre for Computing History in Cambridge has announced that it has raised enough money to undergo a major redevelopment, with the additional boost of match-funding from a local software company.
The centre achieved its aim of raising £100,000 within 30 days for the refurbishment of its main gallery and the creation of an exhibition to chart the global impact of computing.
The fundraising target was reached by the centre’s deadline which means a Cambridge-based company, Red Gate Software, will abide by its offer to provide matched funding.
