The Wellcome Trust has announced that it has expanded its investment portfolio, adding a marina company to its existing interests in farming and student accommodation.
The trust acquired Premier Marinas from BlackRock UK Property Fund for an undisclosed amount, it announced on 12 May.
According to the trust, Premier Marinas Limited owns “eight of the UK’s most prestigious marinas”, including 300,000 square feet of rental property occupied by a variety of boat repair services, retailers and catering companies.
