The Royal Academy of Engineering has announced a partnership with the multinational oil company BP aimed at encouraging the development of individuals and start-up companies in the engineering field.
The collaboration will “advance progress against the academy’s strategic objectives” and increase the impact of its Enterprise Hub, a national resource providing early-stage companies with long-term mentoring, training and support.
The organisations have agreed to work together to boost five areas: skills, research, innovation, policy, and diversity and inclusion, the academy said in a statement on 28 October.
