The Royal Society of Chemistry has agreed to recognise the work of its peer reviewers through the Publons platform.
Publons is a peer-review loyalty scheme that recognises researchers by the number of papers they review as well as the quality of their reviews. These credits can subsequently be added to their CVs to demonstrate researchers’ contributions to the peer-review process.
In a deal signed between the society and Publons and announced on 11 September, peer reviewers contributing to 10 of the society’s journals will be given access to the platform on a trial basis.
