Brexit is already having a negative impact on the UK’s ability to attract research funding and talent, according to a damning analysis from the Royal Society.

According to the report, published just two weeks before the scheduled Brexit date, the UK’s share of grant funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme has fallen significantly since the EU referendum in 2016.
