Wellcome Trust’s director of innovation to step down

Stephen Caddick, who helped develop Wellcome’s £500m innovation strategy, will step down in April 2020

The Wellcome Trust has announced that Stephen Caddick is to step down from his role as director of innovation.

Caddick helped the charity build the innovation team and develop its 2017-22 innovation strategy, which promised £500 million over five years to support innovation activities. He will leave at the end of April 2020 after five years in the role, Wellcome announced on 3 October.
