Seven women and one man named winners of 2019 Women in Science and Engineering Awards

Scientists and engineers working to boost the participation of women in their fields have been recognised for their achievements at the 2019 Women in Science and Engineering Awards in London on 7 November.

Seven women and one man were named winners at the annual WISE event, which celebrates organisations and individuals that work to promote science, technology, engineering and mathematics subjects to girls and women as career options. It focuses on a wide variety of sectors, including gaming, research, education, finance and technology.
